Landlord Adds Value With Shared Internet Access

A landlord was faced with demands from some of his tenants for high speed Internet access. We reviewed the existing equipment and determined we could install our own equipment, remotely manage the network, and offer much better service at a better price than other alternatives. We structured our pricing to illustrate that it would be more beneficial to use the shared service over a dedicated individual circuit.

We provided a sophisticated layer three switch that featured per port routing at the IP layer and had built in firewall and remote management functions. This allowed individual tenants to link up with their existing LAN equipment and retain secure and unrestricted access to the Internet. The speeds are as fast as 768Kbps and tenants are very happy with the service. The landlord enjoys free service for bringing us into the building.
